A reflection on an IPE learning opportunity by UT Austin instructor and doctoral candidate

Megan Pfitzinger Lippe, MSN, RN is an assistant instructor at The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing as well as a doctoral candidate and a Jonas IV Nurse Leader Scholar (2014-16 cohort). Pfitzinger Lippe's reflection of her experiences in the IPE elective, Transformative Teams in Healthcare, was published in the September issue of Reflections on Nursing Leadership. Her article, "I thought I was a well-versed interprofessional collaborator...I was wrong!" details the need for and benefits of debunking stereotypes and learning more about the roles of other professionals on the health care team.
